Structured lessons designed to help you play real music with confidence.

Beginner

Start playing real music right away. You’ll learn songs like Stand By Me and riffs like More Than a Feeling and Sweet Home Alabama, while training your right and left hand to work separately—and then together—from day one.

Scales

The fretboard doesn’t have to feel like a mystery. You can actually understand what’s happening and move around with confidence. We’ll use key shapes and root notes to give you solid landing points—even when inspiration takes you somewhere new. Theory here is always meant to serve creativity, not guesswork.

Note Names

Learn the notes across each string to give you anchor points for scales, triads, and arpeggios. This is essential for understanding everything else on the fretboard. We’ll briefly use a simple A–G “ladder” approach, then move away from it as quickly as possible. The goal is instant recognition across the fretboard so you’re not stuck thinking step-by-step.

Arpeggio’s

Learn arpeggio shapes across the fretboard, then bring them into real musical context. Shapes are just the start—this course shows you how to use them over chord progressions so they actually sound like music.

Chops

The “money hand” (your right hand) needs some love. Strumming, fingerpicking, and picking—this is where your playing starts to feel like music. We’ll focus on feel, timing, and dynamics so everything comes to life.

Theory

“Key?” Never heard of him. “Minor?” But I’m an adult… If those words make you question your life choices, this will clear things up. Learn how keys actually work so you can understand songs and play with confidence.

Triads

We’ll work through all four string sets to learn each triad shape—from major to sus2, sus4, and diminished. You’ll cover all the essentials and more while learning how to move these shapes across the fretboard.

Chords

Build a strong chord foundation with a full library of shapes, then expand into chord families and more advanced voicings. Learn how chords actually work so you can use them in real music.

Strumming

Do you just hope for the best when you strum? This course breaks down what strumming really is. I’ve taken everything I’ve learned and turned it into clear, practical techniques people always ask about—“How do you do that?” It’s all here.

Jam Tracks

Put what you’ve learned into practice. A collection of YouTube tracks and personal jams to help you play, experiment, and build confidence.

Gear

We’ll go through the gear I actually use—what everything does and how to use it without overcomplicating things.

Song Writing

Dive into the songwriting process I use and actively work with. You’ll get tools to spark inspiration, along with simple structures to help you start writing your first song.
