Note Names – Two Notes Per String
Notes on the B & E Strings (2nd & 1st Strings)
In this exercise, we’ll focus on two notes per string, using only notes from the key of C (no sharps or flats). Limiting the note choices on purpose helps break pattern-based thinking and forces real note recognition. Instead of relying on shapes, you’ll start to know exactly what note you’re playing and where it lives on the neck.
