The 5th string (A string) builds directly on what you learned on the 6th string and is just as important for finding notes across the fretboard. This quiz comes in three levels, designed to help you build real speed and confidence with note names on each string.
Level 1 gives you about 4 seconds between each randomly called note — plenty of time to think and double-check.
Level 2 cuts that down to around 2 seconds, pushing you to react faster without panicking.
Level 3 is almost instant. It’ll feel like you’re barely keeping up — and that’s exactly the point. That edge-of-control feeling is where your note recognition really locks in.
