This course teaches you to memorize the notes on the fretboard. Learning the notes on the fretboard is foundational for learning how to visualize the fretboard and navigate your way through keys and scales.  If you have strong anchor points to bounce off of, then you will have more freedom and confidence and you rip a solo or delicately place those tasty chords. You will go through each string and memorize each string separately in the Key of C.
